Summer Research Opportunities:
Federally-funded REUs (Research Experiences for Undergraduates), and similar:
(FYI, external REU options with NSF, NASA, and DOE are VERY COMPETITIVE in the Env Sciences – I suggest building up experience and credentials in research through an initial summer and/or semester of faculty-mentored research with a Marist faculty member – the lower option)
Searchable national REU databases:

DOE REUs: https://science.osti.gov/wdts/suli
